Welcome to Cafe Thursday, the weeklong thread open to all camera types and brands. All are welcome here.

Wishing everyone a Happy December full of Holiday festivities and December settings for photographing.
This week's subject can be about anything, but please tell us a little about the shot and gear used.

My camera for this shot was the Canon 5D MKIV with the Canon EF40mm f/2.8 STM lens. (aka 40mm pancake lens)
This is such a good little lens and was so affordable. No it's not an L lens, but still so sharp.

This was in LA, I believe around Hollywood Blvd.

From last year around this time. The few inches of snow around us disappeared in the 50+ degree F temp over the weekend.
