Welcome to Cafe Thursday, the weeklong thread open to all camera types and brands. All are welcome here.

Wishing everyone a Happy December full of Holiday festivities and December settings for photographing.
This week's subject can be about anything, but please tell us a little about the shot and gear used.

My camera this week is the Canon 5D MKIV with the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L
This is a shot from today, the day after Christmas, on Broad Street and Ridge, Philadelphia.
The building at the end of the street is City Hall and atop City Hall is a statue of William Penn.
For many years there was a gentlemen's agreement that no building in Philadelphia could be taller than William Penn's Hat.
In 1987 was the first a building was built taller than William Penn's hat. More on this story to follow in a future edition of Cafe Thursday.
