I was just about to pull the trigger on a X100s the other day but my local dealer overrated the advertised condition. The sticking point for me was the on/off switch was very stiff. Instead I picked up A 16mm 2.8 WR for my recently purchased XT2. I’ll just have to be happy with that combo.

This image was a chore to capture. The winds were blowing across Lake Ontario at 15-20MPH, with regular gusts higher. I was working at about 250mm without a tripod and had to lean against the side of a beach pavilion building to keep the camera steady and prevent me from blowing over. About 10 shots later, I had this one that I was happy with. Post is just a touch of solarization to intensify the character of the sea and sky. It was cold, probably about 40℉, and I think that the treatment brings out the nature of the lake in the greens near the shore and the cold blue of the deep lake water.

As a note, I am now sold on the Fuji universe with my XT-5. As @William W said, it fits my body and purposes well--and drives like my old Canon A-1 bodies... 🧙‍♂️

From last year around this time. The few inches of snow around us disappeared in the 50+ degree F temp over the weekend.
