Nikon D7100; Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC Macro(OS) HSM|C

This couple was encountered at a 4th of July event, just a bit after she asked him to help with her hair. Sensing something interesting coming up I pre-zoomed on something else in order to "swing" quickly into the frame. Most people (a hasty generalization, OK?) lose focus on a roaming photographer when said person is seemingly taking photos in the opposite direction. They just carry on... :sneaky:

As I glanced over at them, he had just put the clip in his mouth and was doing this silly chomping with it--which of course caused her to laugh. Just as I turned to capture the image, he saw me and turned back to her--while raising that middle finger.

I got the message and the image. :cool:
 
I note that Emily is in several of the images you have posted. They are a member of your inner circle, yes?

And now we come to the matter of the cows... :unsure:
 
Josh, this is captivating! Tones, grain, and focus work together to deliver an intimate, alluring image. The subjects convey a deep connection and care... :unsure:
