This shot was taken with the Sony A7R3 using a Metabones 5 E Mount Adapter for Canon EF lenses using the Canon 40mm f/2.8 Pancake. The vehicle was moving slowly about to make a turn. This does not appear to be rolling shutter but a bend in the picture. the shutter speed was 1/400 sec. in silent shutter mode. I just noticed this from today's shoot and will need more testing. I have not noticed it on other shots with the same camera and lens. Of course, this is Philly so perhaps there is some Philly Space Time Distortion a couple of blocks in from the Delaware River not far from the Navy Yard. (Philadelphia Experiment Residue? 😵‍💫 You have just entered the Philly Zone) I know matching up a Canon lens to a Sony body could produce unexpected results, but I have been doing it over the years. Attempting to do a Lens Correction in Lightroom, that lens does not show up on my LR List. I tried other Canon Lenses, and they all show this distortion. Perhaps there was distortion caused by the windshield. Any thoughts?
