Hi everyone,
I’m looking to improve my headshot photography skills and would love some advice. I primarily shoot portraits for professionals, but I often struggle with lighting and capturing a natural, confident expression. I’ve tried using softbox lighting and natural light near windows, but the results are inconsistent.
Do you have any go-to techniques for flattering angles, lighting setups, or posing tips that help subjects look their best?
Also, how do you make clients feel relaxed in front of the camera?
Any recommended gear or post-processing tricks would be hugely appreciated.
