Title: The Race

These beauties are part of a 1920s carousel, located in Highland Park, Endwell, NY. Endwell is part of greater Binghamton--and is known as the carousel capital of the world. Within no more than 10 minutes from each other, there are six of them, and all working! As fate would have it, none of them were open during a jaunt on a very nice weekend day last month. Go figure. These were spotted running their race in the darkness--through an open space in between doors. No flash, just sunlight spilling in and a triangle of ISO500; 1/60s; f7.1@44mm
