Welcome to Cafe Thursday!
Tonight, I am coming to you from our camp in Quechee, Vermont and I have good camp WI-FI with VPN.
This is the best internet I have had in two weeks. lol.

So back to this week's Cafe Thursday, ;)

This is a weeklong thread that starts on Thursday and is open to all camera types and brands.
All are welcome here.
This week's subject, whatever you care to share is great. I am doing my travel photography.
Whatever you share, please tell us a little about the shot and gear.

For me, this has been another good week of photography, though I am way behind on
going through the shots taken in the last few weeks. It's always easier shooting in great locations.
It's the downloading, cataloging, cullying and post editing that takes time.

This shot is from the top of Cadillac Mountain overlooking Bar Harbor.
Beautiful weather this day.

Travelling has always been freshly inspirational for me photographically, and although I now bring a laptop while away, I never seem to get to do much post processing, etc either and am in the same have-fallen-behind boat when home. All worth it in the end though.

This picture is from a recent trip to Bornholm, a remote Danish island in the Baltic Sea off the coast of Denmark. My wife is about to enter the church where her great grandfather was baptized in the mid-1800's. After years of hearing the lore of his adventures as a sea captain, it was quite the emotional experience to be inside the church where he was christened.
