Brooding Bantams

Every county fair has a 4H and or FFA component to it. Sadly, these institutions for farm kids are declining for all too many reasons. What gets left behind is half-empty exhibition halls, that have not been updated in 30 years. At the Steuben County Fair, I have been looking at this thing for the past 14 years. Located in the Poultry Building, it is a chicken brooder of some sort. You know, a place where chickens go to brood about their lot in life. This year I finally snapped it. Why not before? Maybe I did and it's buried under thousands of images in folders many years old.
Here it is. BTW, the 'chickens' seen inside were made by 4H kids out of random feathers and other stuff. If one were to cook them I suspect they would not be happy. Or it would be about the same as a two day old McDonald's chicken sammie...
