Best camera for macro photography in 2023

I would like to hear from anyone who uses an Olympus mirrorless for focus stacking at magnification => 1:1.
I use various Nikons, and I don't intend to switch; however, Nikon's focus shift is clunky at best: go to the menu (which means you can no longer see what you're shooting!) and select "Focus shift" and then select "Start."
I have the Olympus TG-6, which isn't in the same IQ class as the mirrorless Nikons I have, but the TG-6 beats the pants off the Nikons in terms of ease of shooting a stack. You can still see what you're shooting, so a handheld stack isn't too difficult. Handheld with the Nikons is very difficult at best.
Any flagship Oly users out there who can answer if this capability of the TG-6 trickles up to the higher-end cameras?
