Welcome to Cafe Thursday. The photographer hang out. Grab a coffee and look at this week's photos.
You are encouraged to share your shots here too, simply for viewing by fellow photographers and
passers buy who stop into cafe. You are encouraged to comment on the photos too.

As always, this is a week-long thread open to all photographers using any brand or type of camera.
I am hoping we all have a good year.

Here is a fresh shot this week from Oceanside Beach.
shared here is large enough resolution to fill an average computer monitor.

I always like to see the details.

My gear was the Canon 5D MKIV and the Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8

Always enjoy coming here Mark, thanks for your efforts in keeping the thread going.

Recently out of a mix of pure convenience, laziness, distraction, etc, I've been using a phone camera almost exclusively for my photographic efforts. This one is to remind myself to at least attempt to break the pattern every once in a while.

Thanks, Jon, I keep trying and I am so glad that there is someone reading the posts and commenting.

Love the film shot. That might work as a good incentive reminder.
Ahh the film days. And it still has a following. It has been decades since I developed black and white film
in high school. And over 25 years since I shot a roll. But I was gifted a 1960.s Canon 35mm from an old friend
who recently passed. I really need to shoot a few rolls in his honor, As far as the cellphone, some of those are
very nice and convenient. I have the Samsung S24 Ultra and it is not a bad little camera for a phone. It can
even shoot RAW and do 200 Megapixels not that I think it is that great at that resolution. But I am pretty
impressed with its video capabilities too.

Thanks so much for stopping into the cafe and participating.
I'll keep trying to share something interesting making it worth a visit
and hope you continue too, that make it all worthwhile.
