This image was a surprise to find. Our local artists put together an "artists trail" of their studios one weekend. This visit was to a ceramics atelier and had several footpaths through the surrounding woods. There were fish in trees, mermaids about, and my little friend here. He looks very hopeful and soulful as he holds out his offerings... :unsure:

Except for the fact that here in America the punters reduce the original funding commensurate with the new cash flow--and then scatter the excess about in Pork Barrel projects. As Ecclesiastes supposedly stated (1:9), 'There is nothing new under the sun....''
 
I hope to sell a few of these sticks I find along the local brook and then attempt to make them into functional walking sticks. I have an idea for rustic picture frames as well using the same dead branches
