Post==> PS24beta/Topaz PAI3/Nik7 Color (Dark Gold; modified)
So I always love me some museums and galleries. I have posted quite a few reinvisioned images ripped straight from the walls of art and history--and this one is no exception.
The 'model' here is a 3D installation in the Corning Museum of Glass. I will leave you, gentle reader, to figure out who is buried in Grant's Tomb. Made of hand-blown and sand blasted mold glass attached to thick plates of lightly tinted float glass, it is interesting. But not compelling enough to distill into a finished image. This and others have been languishing away in digital deepfreeze since 2018. But now, I find that Nik has done some right wicked shit with version 7, and the Color Efex plugin is no small exception.
I really don't work in color that much anymore. This may be a small game changer for that. The 'Dark Gold' recipe that I chose and modified lends a very profound 15th century northwestern European vibe to the thing--or so I think.
At the end of the trail, there is no AI involved really. From the original image to finish is just a series of adjustments and masks.
