That is a dramatic sky. The vanishing point perspective lines to the back and with clouds guide the eyes back and up around across and down into the photo. All the stuff we were taught in art class so long ago. I am mixed on the post cap in the lower left corner. On one hand it is interesting object grounding the viewers position in space and pushing the eye away from what might be dead space. On second thought, yes, keep it. Lol. Good shot. It is early here. I just woke up, have not had coffee. Cheers. 🙂

Don't know I was to busy looking at his mother:)

Don't be giving the rest of us a bad name by leering at lovely ladies. Plus, the angle could be better... 🥳

When the undersides of the clouds are leaden, and the rise white with sufficient clear sky--the light is called 'spectral.' Always spectacular, fleeting, and notoriously hard to capture photographically in its fullness.

Tonight we are getting needed rain. I set up the Canon and a Phottix Aion remote trigger and my Android tablet with the Canon Connect App just to view the images being shot. Lighting was an LED Smart bulb in the Tiffany lamp to the left off camera set to around daylight temp, and a small LED flashlight across the room. Nothing fancy.
